  22. With the archive-lister you can view the contents of an ARC, ARJ, HYP,
  23. LZH, PAK, RAR, SQZ, UC2, ZIP or ZOO archive (also there SFX variants),
  24. the archive-lister also can view archives in archives (up to 16 deep).

  26. The archive-viewer can be used to view files, edit files, or manipulate

  77. With the following commands you can define the parameters that must
  78. be used for the external archiver-utilities, the 'xxx' in the
  79. commands must be replaced by ARC, ARJ, HYP, LHA, PAK, RAR, SQZ,
  80. ZIP, UC2 or ZOO.

  82. There are two variables, %A and %F, thes two must ALWAYS exist in one
  83. of the commands (except xxxRESPONSE and xxxTEST), %A will be replaced
  84. by AVIEW with the name of the archive processed, and %F with a
  85. filename for adding, deleting and updating, note that AVIEW will
  86. automatically add the response-file-char before the filename when
  87. needed. The variables %A and %F are NOT optional!

  100. With this command you tell AVIEW to supress snow on (old) CGA-Cards.

  104. With this command you tell AVIEW how to swap before an external
  105. utility is executed, there are 5 modes:

  107. 0 - Swap to EMS/Disk.
  108. 1 - Swap to EMS/XMS/Disk (Default).
  109. 2 - Swap to XMS/Disk.
  110. 3 - Swap to XMS/EMS/Disk.

  115. With this command you define the directory where AVIEW must write
  116. his swap-files when used, use a ramdisk to speed-up AVIEW.

  122. With this command you force AVIEW to wait for a keypress after

  128. archive-lister as default (With full-path), this option works like a
  129. toggle in AVIEW by pressing ALT-L.

  133. With this statement you can define how the file-date is shown, include
  134. MM for month, DD for day and YY for year, the sepparation-chars can be

  139. With this statement you force AVIEW in black and white mode, this can
  140. be handy for laptop-users who have a LCD-Screen.

  156. With this command you can define up to 32 viewers, with <Trigger> you
  157. specify the file-extension which must trigger the viewer, the <Trigger>
  158. may include wildcards. Default viewer when non-defined is WPVIEW for
  159. all type of files.

  161. The variable %F can be used to pass the file-name selected in AVIEW to
  162. the viewer.

  168. With this command you can define up to 32 editors, with <Trigger> you
  169. specify the file-extension which must trigger the editor, the <Trigger>
  170. may include wildcards. Default editor when non-defined is NCEDIT for
  171. all type of files.

  174. the editor.

  193. With this statement you can define how AVIEW must sort the archive-list as
  194. default, valid sort-keys are: NAME, EXTENSION, ORGSIZE, CMPSIZE,
  195. DATETIME, METHOD and UNSORTED, optional you can specify with ASCENDING
  196. or DESCENDING the default sort direction, default is ASCENDING.
